This item runs true to size. These are made to fit snug in the waist/hips and top of legs and then flare at the knee down. If you have a girl with long legs we recommend ordering the size she needs for pant length! If you have a shorter girl we don't recommend sizing up because you don't want flares to drag on the floor :)
